Week 3 Homework

Greeting Parents & Caregivers,

Upcoming events for the week 4: 

As you know that 15th August is the Feast of Our Lady of Assumption and it is a day of Obligation. There will be a special liturgy in the Wharenui on  Tuesday the 14th because of the Teacher's Strike on the 15th.This coming Friday is "Cans for Christmas Mufti day". Theme for dress up is Bible Characters. Please send a can of food with your child as the cans are collected  for a special cause. Let's help the poor and needy in our Community with that little we can.

St. Mary Mackillop Feast Day

Hello,

Tomorrow is the feast of our Patron Saint Mary Mackillop. There is a slight change with the venue for the Mass. The Feast day Mass will be at the school wharenui at 9.30. The girls performing the Liturgical Dance need to be dressed in their white dress. Please send their school uniforms along with them so they could change after.

Kindly send in a can of food for the poor and need people of our Community.

Well come to Term 3!!

 Greeting Parents & caregivers,

It was good to be back with my class B2 after two weeks of break. I hope you all had good rest along with your children.

Updates about Term 3:

Week 2 is SLC's please remember to book early for your time. Come along as your children will talk you through all their exciting learning from Term 2. Help us achieve 100% attendance please! 

Week 2 is Cook Island Language week as well so, we will be learning about the Culture and Traditions of Cook Island People.  

Week 3 is the Feast of our Patron St. Mary Mackillop. We will have our Whole School Mass at St. Therese Church at 9.15am. We will be learning about her Charism.

Week 4 15th of August: The Catholic Church celebrates Mary's  Assumption to Heaven both body and soul. It is a day of Obligation so there will be a special Liturgy at the Wharenui at 9.00am.
