B2 students have been busy designing their own Personal Rosary and their Personal Prayer Book. These will be blessed at the Mass by Rev. Father Manoj. Very proud of all their hard work. The students will come home with their own Rosary and Prayer Book. So proud of my lovely students.

Homework Week 7

Hello parents & caregivers,

It's been very busy with Testing, Assessments and Report writing.  I'm very proud of my students progress for this academic year. 

Rosary Project: This term we have learnt about Traditional and Devotional Prayers and as a part of our learning we are designing our own Personal Rosary and Prayer book. The Rosary and Prayer book should be ready by this week . They will be blessed during our End of Term Mass on Friday Week 8. 

This week B 2 students will be learning about Advent and its meaning as the Advent season begins on 2nd December. The students will be designing an Advent Wreath as a part of their learning.

Terrific Tongan Language Week!

Greetings Parents & Caregivers,

What a Trilling Tongan Language Week it was for B 2 with all the Tantalizing learning. Thanks to my Tongan students who stood tall and proud to help us with Tongan Learning. B 2 students had to learn facts about Tonga and some common everyday words. It was challenging but everyone gave it a try.

Well done to Sorona for accepting a challenge and executing it well. She along with Malia helped the girls learn a Tongan dance. Huge thanks to Una Filo Sorona's mum and Maria Fonua Shaylee's mum for the lovely Traditional attire for the dance. The girls looked stunning and so was their performance. Would like to congratulate Samiu for being  brave and performing along with the girls. Here are a few pics and a video of their performance.

Creative Students!!

Look at some of our students use the recycle material to make their musical instruments. For Guided Reading the Caterpillars & Ladybugs group read a text called "Starting with Strings". In the text the students design their own musical instruments as a part of their activity.

St. Mary Mackillop Feast Day

Hello,

Tomorrow is the feast of our Patron Saint Mary Mackillop. There is a slight change with the venue for the Mass. The Feast day Mass will be at the school wharenui at 9.30. The girls performing the Liturgical Dance need to be dressed in their white dress. Please send their school uniforms along with them so they could change after.
